Kimber's 5th Birthday

Best Friends!

Kimber is FIVE, where did my little girl go? She is starting to read, and she can read her BOB books quite well. The other day she saw Taylor studying for a spelling test, so Kimber wanted to have one. I made a spelling list that she had to study all day. The words were hat cat rat, and so forth. At the end of the day she had the test and she got 100%. Good job Kimber.
She tells me that when she grows up she wants to be a "nail saloner". She wants to do people's nails. She told me she would want to be a mommy but she doesn't want to have the baby cut from her, that would hurt too much. I am not sure where she go that idea from.
The other night I was putting the kids to bed, and they were not listening, so I thought I might try something different to get them to listen. I started to tell them that I guess they didn't want to go to the park, or watch tv tomorrow, and stuff like that. Anyways Kimber started to cry a bit and then said 'mommy you are starting to sound like a Step mom." I guess she watches too many Disney shows. For her birthday she wanted to have a Jaguar cake. She then had a party at the park near the beach. We played games, played on the park, had cake and then a couple people ended up at the beach. It was a fun party, and Kimber felt very loved. Thanks to everyone who came!

Bailey is Two!

Bailey has just turned two! I can't believe how fast she has grown. She is full of life. She loves being active. When you go to put her on the ground she has her legs running before they even touch the ground. She has two speeds, fast and sleep. Her new trick is to run to you and say 'fast' then she will run somewhere and come back so she can show you how fast she is. She also thinks that she is a lot older than she is. She follows the older kids on the playground and does everything that they do. It really scares me sometimes.
She really likes to watch Dora. When you ask her to say 'Swiper no swiping' she just say 'oh man!' She is starting to talk more. It has been so nice. She can say everyone's name, but for some reason she has a hard time saying Kimber, so she says Bimber. It is really cute.
